Hobbies

Off the lab clock

Robots are most of my week, not all of it. Here's what keeps me moving, looking up, and turning pages.

What I'm into

๐Ÿƒ

Distance running

I race 5Ks and 10Ks. Running is my debugging time โ€” most stubborn research problems untangle themselves somewhere around kilometer four.

City cycling

I bike around Atlanta whenever I can. Two wheels are the best way to learn a city's geometry โ€” and a daily reminder of how hard real-world navigation actually is.

MODE: commute + weekend loops

Drone photography

The hobby that became a career and stayed a hobby. I fly for the view: skylines, trails, and the occasional shot that makes the planning worth it.

CROSSOVER: see aerial projects

Reading

Technical books, long-form articles, and engineering blogs. I keep a running list of ideas worth stealing from other fields.
